?Scarlett’s POV
I tried in calling Emily’s number, but she snubbed it, I went back home because I knew work would be boring without emily, I remove my clothe to get some rest , but I slept off, I woke up and saw 19 missed call on my phone and 13 messages, it was from emily, I quickly grab the phone and called her back.
“So, you were snubbing me too, right?” she said childishly.
“Not really, I just woke up, and I’m so sorry for Mira’s stupidness” I answered dizzily.
“Oh, I could feel it in tour voice, don’t worry about Mira, she’s just in love with you, it’s not her fault” she said calmly.
“Not her fault, then is it my fault or whose fault” I asked angrily.
“It’s my fault for coming in between you two, I’m sorry” she pleaded.
“Don’t talk like that, you are so special to me, I even quit job because of you today” I said.
“Lol, I’m at office right now” she said laughing. I didn’t ask for anything again, I put on my clothe back happily and went to an eatery, I bought donut and ice cream for her, I drove to work faster than ever.
“Good morning, Mr.Scarlett” she said jokingly.
“We are in the afternoon, Mrs.Scarlett” I replied smiling waiting for her reaction.
“Mrs.Scarlett, don’t call me that” she replied rolling her eye.
“Why didn’t you come to the office earlier” I asked standing up.
“Because I wasn’t relieved from the slap your wife gave to me” she replied frowning. I got close to her and touched her soft cheeks, bit she pushed me away and found her way out of office, Aargh!
